The opportunity
Hyprop’s digital ecosystem was a patchwork of disconnected platforms and agencies. This made updates time-consuming, offered little flexibility for campaign rollouts and limited the ability to gather meaningful customer data. Hyprop needed a unified platform to bring all mall content management under one roof, with scalability for future developments and a flexible system to meet group and centre-level needs.
The solution
Swipe iX worked with Hyprop to design and develop a bespoke, scalable content and hosting system built on AWS. The system allows for centralised management of each retail centre’s website content, brand elements and marketing activity, while maintaining the individuality of each site. The solution includes custom APIs, access control, customer analytics, personalisation tools, and campaign rollouts across one or multiple centres. The platform also ensures compliance with POPIA and GDPR, and gives Hyprop full control of its digital assets.
The results
The Hyprop Management System has transformed Hyprop’s digital presence. The group has reduced reliance on external agencies and brought most content management in-house. The performance impact has been significant:
- Bounce rate decreased from 63% to 33.5%
- Page views increased by 124%
- Pages per session grew by 156%
Hyprop can now run group-wide or centre-specific campaigns at speed, backed by better customer insights and an improved user experience.
